This Privacy Policy explains how amilosing.it ("we", "our", or "the site") handles information when you use our quiz. We take your privacy seriously and have designed the site to collect as little data as possible.

1. What we collect

When you complete the quiz, we log the following anonymously:

• Your total score and verdict
• Your scores across the eight question categories
• Your country and age bracket, if you choose to provide them (both are optional)
• A randomly generated device identifier (see below)
• The date and time of submission

We do not collect your name, email address, IP address, or any other personally identifiable information as part of the quiz.

2. Device identifier

To keep our statistics accurate, we generate a random identifier and store it in your browser's localStorage under the key ailDeviceId. This identifier looks like dev-abc123-xyz789 — it is not linked to you personally and cannot be used to identify you. It is only used to deduplicate results if you take the quiz more than once. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's local storage.

3. Cookies

The quiz itself does not set any cookies. However, we use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may set cookies on your device to serve personalised ads based on your browsing activity. You can learn more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

4. Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to help fund the site. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.

5. How we use the data

The anonymised quiz data is used solely to:

• Calculate and display the running average score shown in your report
• Understand general trends across quiz responses (e.g. most common verdicts)

We do not sell, share, or otherwise distribute your data to any third party.

6. Data retention

Quiz results are stored in a log file on our server hosted by Hostinger. We retain this data indefinitely for statistical purposes, but since it contains no personally identifiable information, it cannot be traced back to you.

7. Your rights

Since we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete on our end. If you wish to remove your device identifier from your own browser, simply clear your browser's local storage for amilosing.it.
